Melbourne Renegades vs Sydney Sixers | Big Bash 12th Match | Play Fantasy Cricket

The Big Bash 2018-19 competition is getting intense by the day. In the Next game Melbourne Renegades playing at home in Docklands Stadium shall take on Sydney Sixers who have come here with two consecutive defeats and almost a must-win situation to stay alive in the tournament. The side has been struggling with the form its key players and would look up to them to perform. Renegades on the other hand are in very good form having won both their games so far and would be looking for a win in their upcoming match at home.

Sydney Sixers, who were one of the table-toppers not long ago, have dropped down to the seventh spot following their second consecutive loss of the tournament, to Melbourne Stars. Stars, on the other hand, registered their first win and have made way into the top-four, thanks to their pretty good net run rate. Sixers have another match coming up to play against Melbourne Renegades who have won both of their games and are at the second spot in the points table. The match will be played at the Docklands Stadium on Saturday, 29th December.

Sydney Sixers vs Melbourne Stars | Big Bash League 10th Match | Play Fantasy Cricket

The Big Bash League has started well in this season and the matches are going on very interestingly. Sydney Sixers will face Melbourne Stars in the 10th Match of the Big Bash League.

Moises Henriques would be terribly upset with the performance of his side in the previous game against Sydney Thunder. Bad show at the top meant that the side failed to chase the total down. This after the team has started the season well with a win over Perth Scorchers at home. As the team now heads back to SCG to play the next game against Melbourne Stars Henriques would expect his batsmen to fire. It is going to be a tough contest as the Stars also come into this game with a must win situation.

It hasn’t been the kind of start that Melbourne Stars skipper Glenn Maxwell would have hoped for the side. Despite having one of the start-studded teams of the season they have failed to open their account on the points table. After suffering two back to back losses against Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes the team finds itself tied in the bottom of the table. Maxwell clearly knows that his side can’t afford another loss or it would get extremely tough for the side for the rest of the season. He would be pinning hopes on the seasoned players in the line-up to fire in the upcoming game.

Asia Cup 2018 Final | India vs Bangladesh | Win a Special Gift for Final Match

The stage is set for another epic finale in the Asia Cup as India face Bangladesh in the summit clash on Friday. It is the second year in a row these two teams will compete in the final of the Asia Cup. India strolled into the final only being challenged by the associate times when most of their front line players were rested. They beat Bangladesh with ease and consigned Pakistan to two of their heaviest defeats in history on the way to the final.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, had a much rockier road to follow. They lost to Afghanistan in the group stages before sneaking past them in a very tight encounter the second time around. A heavy loss against India would have dented their confidence but the win against Pakistan was Bangladesh at its best.

Now, both teams have to be at their best to win the Asia Cup 2018 and be crowned champions of Asia. Can India continue its remarkable unbeaten streak in the tournament or will Bangladesh find a way past its new found rival?

After the experiment in the match against Afghanistan ended in a tie, there is no doubt that India will be back to its full strength side ahead of the final. Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, and Yuzvendra Chahal will all walk back into the side in place of Lokesh Rahul, Manish Pandey, Siddharth Kaul, Khaleel Ahmed, and Deepak Chahar.

It would be fair to say that Bangladesh and its supporters gave the side an excellent chance of making the finals before the Asia Cup began. They started with a few bumps but there is no question that they thoroughly deserve to be in the finals competing against India.

Pakistan vs Bangladesh | Asia Cup 2018 Super Four Match 6 | Fantasy Cricket

Pakistan will play against Bangladesh on September 26  in what will effectively be a semi-final clash as the winner will advance to play India in the final match of the tournament.

Shoaib Malik and Babar Azam have been the most consistent batsmen for Pakistan in this Asia Cup. Shoaib has now hit two fifties in two games, including the gritty 78 he scored against India on Sunday. While Babar and Shoaib will be the key men at the top and in the middle order respectively, the team will also look to their openers Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq to take them off to a good start. Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz and Hasan Ali seem to be the main threats among the bowlers. Shadab and Nawaz have been pretty economical so far and Pakistan will need these two bowlers to hurt Afghanistan during the middle phase of their innings. Hasan Ali and Mohammad Amir will be backed by skipper Sarfraz to make the early strikes during the first powerplay.

Mushfiqur Rahim has scored the most runs for Bangladesh in the tournament - 198 runs in three matches - and he is going to be the key figure in this batting line-up. The middle order relies heavily on Shakib Al Hasan and it will be crucial that he makes a notable contribution with the bat. Imrul Kayes and Mahmudullah both scored in 70s last time against Afghanistan and the team will want them to continue from where they had left off. Shakib will have a major role to play with the ball as well. He is amongst the tournament's leading wicket-takers with seven wickets in four matches and the pitch at this ground should suit his style of bowling. Mustafizur Rahman and Mashrafe Mortaza who claimed two scalps apiece against Afghanistan are two other bowlers in the side with the potential to turn the game on its head.

India vs Afghanistan | Asia Cup 2018 Super Four Match 5 | Fantasy Cricket

India continued its dominance in the Asia Cup as it became the first side to lock up a place in the finals. India’s second match against Pakistan required them to score more runs than the first match but they hardly even broke a sweat. Now, with their last match against Afghanistan a mere formality, there may be some room in the side for some experimentation and giving some people on the bench a go.

Afghanistan, on the other hand, has no chance of making the finals. They lost another last-over thriller against Bangladesh and will be playing for just pride in its last encounter. Afghanistan has shown beyond doubt in this competition that it cannot be taken lightly so India needs to be on guard against an Afghan upset.

India and Afghanistan have squared off against each other just once in the fifty-overs international cricket with the former emerging victorious by eight wickets.

That game was played at Dhaka during the 2014 Asia Cup. Electing to field first after winning the toss, India bowled out Afghanistan for just 159 inside 46 overs and then chased down their total without the slightest of difficulties to wrap up the match with more than 17 overs to spare.

Asia Cup 2018 | History of Asia Cup | ODI Cricket | Fantasy Cricket

The ACC Asia Cup is a men's One Day International and Twenty20 International cricket competition. It was set up in 1983 when the Asian Cricket Council was established as a measure to advance altruism between Asian nations. It was planned to be held every two years.

The first Asia cup was held in 1984 in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates where the council's offices were based (until 1995). India boycotted the 1986 competition because of stressed cricketing relations with Sri Lanka. Pakistan boycotted the 1990– 91 competition because of stressed political relations with India. The 1993 competition was dropped because of stressed political relations amongst India and Pakistan. The ACC has declared that the competition will be held biennially from 2008 onwards. The ICC has ruled that all games played in the Asia Cup have official ODI status.

After downsizing the Asian Cricket Council in 2015, it was announced by the ICC that Asia Cup events from 2016 will be played on a rotation basis between One Day International and Twenty20 International format, on the basis of format of upcoming world events. As a result, the 2016 event was the first event played in the T20I format and functioned as a preparatory tournament ahead of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20.

India and Sri Lanka are the best groups in the ODI format of the tournament having won the cup five times each. Pakistan has also won the ODI competition two times. India is the best group in the T20I format having won the inaugural(only) form in 2016. India is the most successful team in the tournament having won it 6 times (5 times in  ODI format and once in the T20 format).

The 2018 Asia Cup is a One-Day International (ODI) cricket competition booked to be held in the United Arab Emirates in September 2018. It will be the fourteenth version of the Asia Cup and the third time the competition will be played in the United Arab Emirates, after the 1984 and 1995 competitions. India are the defending champions.

The five full members of the the Asian Cricket Council will participate in the competition: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They will be joined by Hong Kong, who won the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier tournament. Hong Kong had lost their ODI status subsequent to completing tenth in the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier in March. However, on 9 September 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted ODI status to all matches in the competition.

Cricket | Origin of Cricket | Cricket Games Online

Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players. It is set on a cricket field centred on a 20-metre (22-yard) pitch with two wickets each comprising a bail balanced on three stumps. For each phase of play, or innings, a batting side tries to score as many runs as possible after striking the cricket ball thrown at the wicket (or delivery) with the bat, while a bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this and dismiss each player (so they are "out"). Means of dismissal can include being bowled, when the ball directly hits the stumps and dislodges the bails, and by the fielding side catching the ball after it is hit by the bat, but before it hits the ground. When ten players have been dismissed, the innings end and the teams swap roles. The side with the most runs generally wins, though there are exceptions where the game is drawn instead. The game is adjudicated by two umpires, aided by a Third umpire and Match referee in international matches. They communicate with two off-field scorers (one per team) who record all the match's statistical information.

There are various formats ranging from Twenty20, played over a few hours with each team batting for a single innings of 20 overs (i.e. 120 deliveries), to Test matches, played over five days with unlimited overs and the teams each batting for two innings of unlimited length. Traditionally cricketers play in all-white kit, but in limited overs cricket they wear club or team colours. In addition to the basic kit, some players wear protective gear to prevent injury caused by the ball, which is a hard, solid spheroid made of compressed leather with a slightly raised sewn seam enclosing a cork core which is layered with tightly wound string.

The sport of cricket has a known history beginning in the late 16th century. Having originated in south-east England, it became the country's national sport in the 18th century and has developed globally in the 19th and 20th centuries. International matches have been played since 1844 and Test cricket began, retrospectively recognised, in 1877. Cricket is the world's second most popular spectator sport after association football. Governance is by the International Cricket Council (ICC) which has over one hundred countries and territories in membership although only twelve play Test cricket.
